Submission Guidelines
Announcement: We've switched to using a SUBMISSION MANAGER, so no emails will be accepted if they contain submissions. ALL submissions must be entered here: Submit to Broken Publications.
If your manuscript isn't finished, please do not submit it here. Inquire about our editing and author consultation & critique services first.
If you just have questions or would like to submit a query letter, please feel free to fill out the contact form on the Contact Us page.
If your manuscript is ready for publication and you'd like to collaborate with us, read on!
We do not accept snail mail submissions.
Our interest is in unique poetry, collaborative works, short story collections, fiction, and some nonfiction (mostly business and marketing-related work).
CURRENT EVENTS:
Currently seeking submissions for the new literary magazine launching in February of 2013!
This literary magazine will be available in print and electronic formats. We don't just want your submissions - we want to know what inspired the work, be it art, a photo of art, poetry, prose, a story, or anything else that could be considered literary or artistic. What is your submission's back story? How is it important to you?
Submit to Chronicles [insert story here].
We're always accepting manuscript submissions!
Please read the submission guidelines on the submission page. Documents should be double-spaced in a 12pt legible font (i.e. Times New Roma, Garamond, Arial, etc.). Please fill in all information in the submission form.
Submit your manuscript.
Soul Vomit submissions open again on January 1st, 2013!
The next Soul Vomit Anthology is already being planned, even though the first one was just published. For 2013, the working title is Soul Vomit: Domestic Violence Aftermath.
This volume will deal with some of the aftermath of leaving an abuser, from being assaulted by said abuser or otherwise physically harmed to suffering from PTSD and anxiety, interpersonal issues, sexual disorders, you name it. The goal of this anthology is to expose that, even after leaving a domestic violence situation, it often isn't over. There is still healing and work to be done. The work submitted should portray reality but remain sincerely encouraging for current victims and survivors, though work leaning more one way or another will still be considered.
